Clean-up action instead of home office
Last week, Communicators employees rolled up their shirts and put on their high-visibility waistcoats: On the occasion of the national IGSU Clean-Up-Day, which took place for the ninth time in September 2021, the Communicators team once again carried out a clean-up action. To ensure that employees in the home office also got in on the wreaths, everyone collected rubbish lying around at home or on the way to work.
Collected, separated, disposed of
Not only Zurich City became cleaner, but also Wollishofen, Winterthur and Zell tackled littering. "My home town of Zell is relatively clean," says Claudia Dudek, Head of Administration. "Nevertheless, I quickly found what I was looking for and filled half a rubbish bag in the nearby area." She then separated the rubbish together with her daughter and disposed of it correctly.
"Littering is not a trivial offence"
Since the first Clean-Up-Day in 2013, the Communicators team has ensured that it is covered by media releases, newsletters and articles. "Littering is not a trivial offence, it has a negative impact on the environment and causes high cleaning costs," says Maurice Desiderato, partner at Communicators. "That's why we like to get involved in Clean-Up Day with words and deeds."
