Peter Manhart becomes partner of Communicators

Peter Manhart, an experienced business and finance editor, will join the Swiss communications group Communicators as a partner and member of the Executive Board on 1 April 2019. The 43-year-old will strengthen the financial communications department.

Communicators, one of Switzerland's leading communications groups, was able to recruit the experienced business and financial editor Peter Manhart as a partner and member of the Executive Board. He will apply his expertise in financial communications and will look after well-known clients from the banking, asset management and pension fund sectors.

After studying journalism at the University of Zurich, Peter Manhart first worked as an IT specialist before turning to journalism. He worked for several leading Swiss-German business and financial publications: from 2001 to 2010 in various departments at Finanz und Wirtschaft, then as deputy editor-in-chief at the investor magazine Stocks and from 2013 as investment specialist at Bilanz. From 2013 to 2015 he was Product Specialist for an investment writing project at UBS. Since then he has been head of the investment department of the Handelszeitung.

"My experience in content management and storytelling on financial topics and the broad network I have built up over the past 15 years will be an ideal fit for my new role at Communicators. I am also looking forward to being active in the entrepreneurial arena," said Manhart, commenting on his new position.

"Peter Manhart is the ideal addition to our finance team. As a journalist of many years' standing, he knows what content is picked up by the media. In addition, as a former executive of a major bank, he knows the needs of clients. At 43 years of age, Peter Manhart ensures a sustainable succession solution in the agency and a consistently high quality of service," emphasizes Christian Weber, partner and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Financial Communicators AG, the financial division of Communicators Group.
