This year's Clean-Up-Day breaks record
The sixth national IGSU Clean-Up-Day was a complete success: The environment was cleaned up, a record was broken and celebrities were involved.
On Clean-Up-Day on September 14 and 15, 2018, schools, communities, businesses and associations once again freed nature from lying around waste. Over 530 clean-up campaigns were carried out - around 80 more than in the previous record year 2017. Nora Steimer, Managing Director of IG saubere Umwelt (IGSU), is delighted with the great commitment: "With entertaining supporting programmes and well-known names such as comedian Claudio Zuccolini, thousands of helpers were mobilised.
